The GORE-TEX Invisible Fit technology laminates the membrane directly to the upper, providing seamless waterproof, windproof, and breathable protection while keeping the shoe lightweight and comfortable.

The innovative midsole technology, HANWAG Bead technology, combines the stability, durability, and cushioning of PU with the lightweight, comfort, and energy-returning capabilities of eTPU. Developed in collaboration with BASF and based on thorough material testing, this solution is unique in the world of outdoor footwear. The sole absorbs the energy generated upon ground contact and then returns it, making each step more dynamic and efficient. The softer midsole also provides extra comfort while walking, which is particularly advantageous on longer hikes.

The shoe is complemented by a newly developed, multifunctional outsole that provides excellent grip on various terrains. The tread pattern is designed to wear more slowly in the most stressed zones, thus increasing its lifespan.
