This Payment Policy applies to purchases made through the Mountex online store available at mountex.com.

Shopify Payments
Payments in our online store may be processed through Shopify Payments, Shopify’s integrated payment solution. Shopify Payments enables us to accept online payments securely through the Shopify platform.
When you choose a payment method processed through Shopify Payments, your payment information is submitted directly through Shopify’s secure checkout environment and processed by Shopify Payments and its payment processing partners.
Card Payments
If you pay by credit or debit card, your card details are processed securely by the payment provider. We do not store your full payment card details on our own systems.
Your card may be charged at the time you place the order, or when the payment is authorised, depending on the payment method and checkout process.
By submitting your card details, you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment card and that the billing information provided is accurate.
Authorisation and Payment Verification
All payments are subject to authorisation by the relevant payment provider, card issuer, bank, or financial institution.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order if the payment is declined, not authorised, flagged as suspicious, or cannot be verified. We may also contact you to request additional information if this is necessary to process, verify, or protect your order.

Payment Currency
Prices and payments are shown in the currency displayed in the online store and at checkout.
If your payment card or payment account is issued in a different currency, your bank or payment provider may apply currency conversion, exchange rates, or additional fees. These charges are determined by your bank or payment provider and are not controlled by Mountex.
Payment Confirmation

Mountex is not responsible for delays or failed orders caused by incorrect payment details, insufficient funds, payment provider errors, bank authorisation issues, or interrupted checkout sessions.

Mountex is not responsible for fees, delays, declined payments, currency conversion charges, or other issues caused by third-party payment providers, banks, card issuers, or digital wallet providers.
