Primus Lite IV

The Primus Lite IV is one of Vivobarefoot's most successful barefoot training shoes, now redesigned with more conscious material usage. It retains the well-known natural movement experience and is made from recycled and vegan materials. The wide foot shape, thin sole, and exceptional flexibility allow the foot to work naturally during workouts—whether it's running, strength training, or everyday active use. The Primus Lite IV provides a direct ground feel and complete freedom of movement during every workout, with a smaller environmental footprint.

The Primus sole construction aims to bring the ground feel as close as possible, thus supporting natural movement and optimal body control. The thin and flexible sole offers excellent ground feedback while providing adequate grip for both gym and outdoor use. The breathable mesh upper offers a lightweight and comfortable fit, aiding proper ventilation during intense workouts. The Ortholite Performance insole is made of 98% recycled polyurethane foam, reducing waste and the use of new plastics.

It is vegan-designed, meaning the main materials used are not of animal origin. However, the manufacturer strives for full transparency, indicating that some smaller components—such as adhesives or dyes—may not yet be fully traceable in all manufacturing processes.
