Its advantages can be enjoyed by beginners, intermediates, and professionals, as well as pairs with significant weight differences. With the integrated HMPE strap, you can switch between three different braking levels with a single hand movement, allowing the system to adapt to the weight distribution of the climbing party. The three braking levels correspond to increasing the belayer's weight by 10 kg (+), 20 kg (++), or 30 kg (+++).

In the event of a fall, the device automatically assists braking, supporting the belayer and balancing weight differences, so the belayer does not lift off the ground during a larger fall. In lower falls, the Ohmega's braking effect reduces the risk of the pair colliding or the climber hitting the ground. The device reliably brakes even if the climber falls directly onto the belay device.

The built-in pulley reduces friction at the first anchor compared to slings, making it almost unnoticeable during climbing or clipping, even on long and difficult routes. The short HMPE strap and minimal activation distance allow for more dynamic, softer belaying, reducing the risk of collision-related injuries.
