The most beautiful hikes in the Vértes and Gerecse Mountains #01

With this publication, which introduces two lesser-known yet surprisingly diverse mountain ranges easily accessible from Budapest through 20 hikes, we are launching a series. We hope that our seasoned hiking companions will enjoy it, and perhaps it will also inspire those who have not yet dared to venture into the allure of unknown terrains to engage in cultured and safe nature exploration. The offerings range widely, from easy, short forest walks enjoyable for beginner hikers to more demanding hikes for the more experienced, all contained in a pocket-sized, high-quality publication. Using the QR codes placed on the maps, each hike in the book can be opened in the Természetjáró application, making navigation simple with the help of a smartphone. Thus, in the descriptions, we could focus on exciting background information and concise yet engaging introductions to the natural and cultural attractions encountered along the way.
